Creative Visualization by Shakti Gawain has long been one of my favourite books...
Some time after she wrote Creative Visualization, Shakti Gawain released The Creative Visualization Workbook. You definitely don't need this to benefit from the original book, and it isn't really a case of a textbook and workbook set. The workbook doesn't follow the book chapter by chapter, or anything, it just adds lots more depth and personal meaning to the concepts in the book. As Shakti says in her forward, the workbook could almost stand alone, although it will make a lot more sense if you've at least read the book. My copy of the workbook is definitely well used, and some of the detailed long-term goal setting stuff is very interesting to return to after a few years to see what you've achieved, how your desires may have matured, and so on.
Writing this has reminded me just how much I love these books, and makes me want to get them out and use them, which I always find inspiring and rewarding. If any of you readers have used these books, I'd love to hear your experiences!
